Family and Individual Counseling

Many of the immigrants and refugees have endured violence, loss of their homes, relocation more than once, and other serious difficulties. Since September 11, 2001 (9/11), they find themselves in the United States under suspicion, very “different” and frequently not respected. Because of the various traumas suffered by these communities, We at ACS have established the Mental Health Department to address their issues. We have begun outreach efforts through various means to publicize this service, including working in collaboration with many mosques, Orange County Social Services, Orange County Health Department, schools, courts and other agencies. Parent Education Classes and court-required anger management classes will be provided at ACS in several languages.
